Who We Are
Wellness In Norman (WIN) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was created to improve the health and wellness of the Norman community. Established in 1995, WIN is founded upon the holistic philosophy that health is a dynamic state of physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well-being. A dysfunction in one area can affect others. Such an imbalance can negatively influence overall health.
Recognizing that the goal of healthy living is to practice balance and moderation, research indicates that illnesses and premature death can often be traced back to lifestyle choices. Improving lifestyle choices most often incorporates a variety of healthcare providers. Our health is the product of the choices we make and the actions we take.
WIN believes it is important to focus upon the causes of poor health not just the symptoms. WIN also believes in the importance of alternative and complementary practices and strives to educate and inspire the Norman community to implement positive lifestyle modification and self care programs.
WIN provides a tax deductible vehicle for the promotion of health and wellness events in Norman.
Mission
Believing that health is a dynamic and ever-changing state of physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social well-being, WIN offers a comprehensive directory of Norman wellness providers. WIN provides educational health articles, wellness tips, and creates an integrated platform that shares education, special events, activities, and promotions that will benefit Norman.
History
WIN has successfully sponsored a variety of community events with international, national, state, and local speakers and artists. WIN has also provided numerous free seminars on topics such as such as meditation, stretching, energy healing, nutrition, musical composition and the power of positive thinking.

WIN is governed by volunteers and people who have a rich history in wellness and health. Our board has a passionate commitment to improving the health and well-being opportunities for the Norman community.
